Sunday Smorgasbord

I’m linking up with Michelle for my first ever Sunday Smorgasbord! I am so excited to show you what I have been up to these past few weeks!

(ONE)

After 2 delayed flights, 1 cancelled flight, 3 airports, and 13 hours later, me and my daughter FINALLY made it to New York to visit family. It was an amazing vacation filled with all the best NY food like Chinese, pizza, bagels, and of course, Friendly’s Ice Cream. We spent a day on the beach also. Great little getaway to start our summer break!

(TWO)

We then ventured down to South Alabama, Fort Rucker, to visit my husband. While he was at work during the week, we were able to soak in some pool time and I had some time to create a few new products (will be released very soon!)

(THREE)

So while in Fort Rucker, a few people said they had a splash park on post. Well, where I’m from a splash park is like a park with sprinklers. I did not expect this and was beyond amazed!!! Now if only I had worn my swim suit but my daughter had a blast. I will definitely be better prepared next time!

(FOUR)

So we had to travel through 4 states to get to my husband. Needless to say, I stopped at every Big Lots on the way to grab these amazing buckets and baskets! This was after the first stop. Now take what you see and multiple it by about 5 and that’s what my car looks like now. SHHHHH don’t tell the hubs, some things he doesn’t need to know šŸ™‚

(FIVE)

We spent 4th of July in GA with all of our family. My daughter had a great time helping us make desserts. They didn’t turn out exactly like they should have but it was fun making and still tasted amazing! We had such a great time seeing our family!

Now I’m off to spend some time with the hubs before he has to head back to Alabama šŸ™ Have a great week!
