Are you looking for a fun way to get your students writing and reading CVC words? This is a fun activity to teach your kids those short vowel words and sounds! Students will look at each picture then say the word. They student will then write the CVC word in the boxes. They will then search for the hidden word in the word search puzzle. Once they find and circle the word, the student will check the box so they know that the word has been found. Your students will have so much fun playing these games!
There are 5 different word searches for each short vowel sound. There is also 5 additional word searches with mixed vowel CVC words. That is a total of 30 word searches!
These would make great activities for literacy centers, work work, morning work, early finishers!
