Are you looking for a fun way to get your students learning beginning sounds and sound recognition? This is a fun activity to teach your kids those initial sounds! Students will look at the code at the top of the page to see which beginning sound they are looking for. When they find that sound, the color the space the indicated color. If the space does not have the designated sound, they color it the other indicated color. When all spaces have been colored, a hidden letter will appear!
You will receive 2 different color by code sets in this pack, 1 set is will be uppercase letters when the hidden letter appears! The other set will be lowercase letters when the hidden letter appears! You will receive 52 color by code pages total!
These would make great activities for literacy centers, morning work, or early finishers!
